The Ethiopian Media and Information Literacy Center (EMILC) is a registered civil society organization (Registry No. 6496, since November 2022) dedicated to building safer, more inclusive digital spaces across Ethiopia and East Africa. We work to counter disinformation, mitigate hate speech, advocate for digital rights, and promote peace and democracy in both online and offline communities. Through training, campaigns, and community engagement, EMILC empowers citizens to navigate the digital world responsibly while strengthening social cohesion and democratic values.
